Elliott Gonzo is a director and creative director known for performance-driven, stylised realism and cinematic world-building, with the surreal creeping in at the edges.
His films and campaigns have been featured by Directors Library, It’s Nice That, Nowness, Another Man, Booooooom, Directors Notes, 1.4 and the Shiny Awards.
Recent commercial clients include Royal Enfield, Cîroc, Tate Modern, Red Bull, Nowness, Dazed, NICCE and Monster Energy.
In music, he’s directed videos for MUSE, Fatboy Slim, The Rolling Stones, Goldie, Casisdead, Meduza, (UKMVA-AWARDS), Vintage Culture, Tom Walker, Wargasm,
Enter Shikari and Nothing But Thieves.
His shorts ‘Hard Times’ ‘Sour Milk’ and ‘Yeast’ have screened at BAFTA-qualifying festivals with international recognition around the world.
He works across live action, documentary, virtual production and CGI, using AI where it meaningfully elevates the idea.
His debut feature documentary, ‘Tight: The World of Indian Bodybuilding’, premiered at the BFI. He’s also in development for his first narrative feature ‘UNDERCURRENT’.
